it's CNY!

How's everyone's Chinese New Year! It's the Year of the Rabbit!! ^^ Although it's already CNY day 4, I still wanna wish everyone health and prosperity, and to stay my friends forever and ever! hahaha.

As usual, I was busy cooking up magic in the kitchen - making curry, baking cakes for my dear friends, making CNY goodies - and, of course, spring cleaning!

So those are my creations~

Apple crumblettes, (I coined this word! Mini apple crumbles are apple crumblettes! heee!)

kueh bangkit (coconut cookies)

and cornflakes cookies!

So proud of myself hahahaha.

I amaze myself sometimes with the amount of old stuff that I have. Year after year I keep taking old stuff out, cleaning them and putting them back in, so my things pretty much accumulate! I can't bear to throw sentimental stuff away..

(like the doggy pencil case that Buddy bought for me on Valentine's years ago, wahh liaoo like so childish one! haa. But it's the thought and memories that count! That celebration was a funny one, and I fainted in school that day, so you can say it was nothing short of excitement.)

There's even a broken ornament of a rabbit (holding a carrot, sitting on a tree stump) encased in a glass globe. The globe is supposed to be hanging in the air by a curvy S-rod, which is also made of glass (Yes! Everything is made of glass!! the rabbit the carrot, etc), so you can imagine how pretty it is! But I'm accident-prone, so no matter how much care I took of it, it smashed after 3 years.

Till now it's been another 3 years after it broke, and I'm still cleaning the dust off the poor rabbit, now without its 'globe' protection. Pretty old rabbit..

But this year, I've decided to be radical with the rest of my garb! Throw everything you're not using anymore!!!

Things that you said you might use again but have never done so for the past 3 years - THEY ARE USELESS!!! DUMP DUMP DUMP! Out with the old, in with the new!

And so this year, I finally have more space for new things. hahaha. I think this cycle is going to repeat next year. Did I mention that I need new clothes, again?

Now that that's settled, prepare to feast your eyes on ............

YUMMY Chocolate Ganache Cake!! Homemade! By yours truly!

Ok I'm sorry it doesn't look perfectly round because my genoise sponge didn't turn out perfectly dome-shaped, so there's a small little dent.

Please don't freak out by looking at those spotty things on my cake surface. Those are condensation droplets, not smallpox or freckles or anything like that ok!

This is just one of the many shapes I made, so I'll just do a preview now, and make a proper recipe review later on ok! Meanwhile, please tell me my cake looks pretty and yummy!

Sorry I dug in immediately and didn't want to waste more time taking pictures =p , so here's what it looks like inside!

Been stood up again.

Am I too nice? I shouldn't deserve to be treated like this!! I don't 放人家的飞机 so i don't expect you to do this to me either!

I've never heard of anyone as dumb as me to be stood up by SO MANY TIMES. Even in one night, I can be stood up like 3 times in a row?! By the same people! How does that even happen? Does that happen to you guys too.. probably noone has shared this sickening type of news with me because, for one, it's utterly embarassing and two, it's so emotionally draining! I can't believe how hungry and full of angst I felt every time this happens!

AHHHHHHHHHH! i need a release! :(

and right now, i'm just so sad. A birthday shouldn't have to be like this.

前几天听有人说，一场恋爱犹如放风筝, 拉得太紧，线就会被扯断。

很有墨水hor！（：

这样说 of course 每个人都会同意咯！

听了过后，我是觉得 --

放风筝是必须要学的。（谁是一生下来就会放风筝的！！想清楚再回答hor！）

而放风筝时，该拉就拉，该放就放，才是能让即使原地踏步的你，掌握着风筝的命运 -- 要多高就多高，要多远就多远。

‘原地踏步’就是不要你为了风筝改变自己的想法，原则，人生习惯，道德观，还有你的性格。 you ARE you!

不觉得很好笑吗？不会放风筝的你，风吹哪里，你的人就追到哪里。追得这么累，辛苦是你自己，而风筝飞不飞得起来还是个未知数。

请你do yourself a favour! 不要做风筝的傀儡！好好的去学会放风筝，之前的为什么都飞不起来，是犯了什么错误！？还是风筝的构造本来就不好的？！好好反省一下，以后不要再犯了！最好是不要再去买那些烂风筝了！！

so，想好好谈一场恋爱，真得犹如放风筝hor？ :D :D

If you're doing something you should be doing, you're not "good". You're not lousy either. You're just living up to everyone's expectations of you.

And if you don't do what you're supposed to do, you're "bad".

That said, you're not being nice just because you did something for me because if you didn't do it, it'd be stolen!!!

A FRESH NEW START

I decided to start a new blog and given my super lazy character, I did the next best thing.........

I deleted every post!! haha. How's that for a new start. Three years of posts gone in a click.

I'm determined to write loyally in this one. Ok fine I know I said the same thing for the past two blogs that I'd closed down earlier. Give me one more chance!!
